Delivery Times
If you ordered a published ebook or audiobook, you should receive a download link via email within 5 minutes after checkout.
If your ebook or audiobook download doesn’t arrive, or you have difficulty transferring it to your preferred platform (e.g., Kindle, iBooks), please email our digital product distributor at help@bookfunnel.com. They’ll respond within 24 business hours to help resolve the issue.
Preorders
We often list upcoming books on our website, which aren’t published yet but are confirmed for release. The ebook and audiobook editions of these upcoming books are often made available for preorder, meaning you can buy them in advance—but you won’t be able to read or listen until launch day.
Preorders are clearly marked on our site. If a book page displays a launch message (e.g., “Launching in 2026”) and the “Add to Cart” button is replaced with a “Preorder,” that means the book is not published yet, so you won’t be able to read or listen to the book immediately. Instead, th a “Preorder” button, please know that you will not be able to read or listen to the book immediately after purchase. Instead, you’ll be automatically queued to receive a download link on launch day at 12:00 AM EST via email.
After preordering an upcoming book, you should still receive an order confirmation within 5 minutes. If you don’t, email us at info@lostislandpress.com to confirm your order was received and your email is correct.
Refund Policy
Ebooks & Audiobooks
Due to the nature of digital products, we do not allow ebook or audiobook refunds. If you have trouble accessing your ebook or audiobook, please email our digital product distributor at help@bookfunnel.com. They’ll respond within 24 business hours to help resolve the issue.
Paperbacks & Hardcovers
🌎 You can purchase paperbacks directly from us if you live in the US or Canada. All paperbacks ordered on our website are signed by the author as an incentive to shop with us instead of the big guys!
If you don’t live in the US or Canad, you can still support us by purchasing paperbacks via other retailers (e.g., Amazon, Audible, iBooks, Barnes & Noble).
Currently, we do not offer hardcovers directly on our website. However, most of our books have hardcover editions available via other retailers (e.g., Amazon, Audible, iBooks, Barnes & Noble).
Shipping Times
If a paperback book is in stock, please refer to the following table for estimated delivery times:

If a paperback book is not in stock, you’ll see a notice that it’s available for backorder. This means the book will be shipped with our next stock cycle (usually in 2-4 weeks).

Please note that if your order contains multiple paperbacks of different statuses (such as one in-stock paperback and one backordered paperback), your order will be shipped in two packages. You’ll receive the in-stock book(s) first and the backordered book(s) second.
Refund Policy
For paperbacks, we may offer partial refunds, full refunds, or product replacements if you receive a damaged product (e.g., torn pages, water damage, broken binding, or major printing errors).
