Welcome to Lost Island Press. By accessing or using this website (the “Site”) or purchasing any products (“Products”), you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, don’t use the Site. Easy.

This Site is owned and operated by Lost Island Press (“we,” “us,” “our”).

You must be at least 18 to make purchases. If you’re not, get an adult to hit the button for you.

2. Products & Availability

Our Products include books, special editions, digital goods, and merchandise.

We reserve the right to update Product details, pricing, or availability at any time.

3. Pricing

All prices are shown in USD unless otherwise stated.

Taxes, shipping, import duties, and other fees may apply depending on your location.

We are not responsible for any duties or import fees.

4. Orders

Placing an order means you agree that:

  • You’re providing correct info
  • Your payment method is valid
  • You understand fulfillment times vary by product (especially for special editions and international printing)

We may cancel an order if fraud is suspected or if something glitches (like an obvious pricing error).

5. Shipping & Fulfillment

Shipping times depend on your region and the type of product ordered.

Special editions may have longer production times, which will be clearly stated on Product pages.

Once a package is handed off to the carrier, delays are out of our control.

You’re responsible for any customs, VAT, or import fees charged by your country.

6. Returns & Refunds

Books and digital products are generally non-refundable, unless damaged or defective.

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 14 days
  • Include photos
  • We’ll replace it or issue a refund at our discretion

Digital goods cannot be returned or refunded once delivered.

7. Digital Products

For ebooks, audiobooks, and downloads:

  • You receive a license for personal use
  • You may not redistribute, upload, share, or resell digital files

Basically: don’t pirate our stuff. We are a pirate-free island.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site—including text, images, branding, products, and media—belongs to Lost Island Press or our licensors.

You may not copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Site without permission.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to breach security
  • Harass or abuse staff
  • Interfere with the Site’s operation

If you do, we can ban you from the Site.

10. Third-Party Services

Our store may use third-party processors or platforms (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Bookvault, Printful).

Those services have their own terms, and by using them you also agree to their rules.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Product in question

Basically: if your cat knocks over your coffee while you’re reading one of our books, that’s not on us.

When we do, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date above.

Continued use of the Site means you accept the changes.
