Remote Contracts
While we do much of our work in-house, we also outsource parts of our projects to remote independent contractors such as cover designers, illustrators, and editors. This allows us to match the needs of each book with the right creative talent.

Internships
Occasionally, we offer internships to individuals eager to learn about the publishing world, particularly in editing, design, and marketing. Our internships last 8-12 weeks and allow inters to work closely with our team and contribute valuably to real projects.
Editorial Interns
- Coordinate with authors, readers, and beta readers to gather and organize early-stage feedback
- Assist with manuscript developmental or copy editing in line with our house’s style guides
- Write and edit copy for our website, newsletter, or social media platforms
Design Interns
- Design book covers or interior page layouts in line with our house’s style guides
- Create graphics for our website, newsletter, or social media platforms
- Illustrate official artwork of characters from our publications
Marketing Interns
- Conduct author interviews and organize promotional campaigns
- Create content for our website, newsletter, or social media platforms
- Assist with outreach, including cold emails and public relations
Intern Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate
- Has access to a laptop and a stable internet connection
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with speculative fiction and the YA audience is a plus
