Ariana is a current student at the University of Notre Dame, studying biology. When not researching frog diseases in a lab, she’s busy writing fantasy books under her pen name, A.y Johlin. She self-published her debut middle grade novel, The Girl Who Wasn’t Chosen, at seventeen, and it was later translated into Russian by Eksmo Publishing. Aside from writing and marketing, she loves animals (especially playing with her pet cat), science, and the outdoors.
