These shipping and return policies apply only to purchases made directly on lostislandpress.com.
If you purchased our products from another retailer (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.), their own delivery times and return policies apply.
Ebooks and Audiobooks
Delivery Info
We deliver ebooks and audiobooks internationally.
For released formats: you’ll receive a download link within 5 minutes.
For preordered formats: you’ll receive a download link on the official launch day at 12:00 AM EST.
If you have trouble accessing or transferring your digital files, please email help@bookfunnel.com. Tech support will reply within 24 hours.
Return Policy
Due to the nature of digital products, no returns or refunds can be issued for published ebooks or audiobooks. This also applies to customer-initiated issues such as buying the wrong book or changing your mind.
We can, however, issue refunds for preordered formats. To request a refund on an ebook or audiobook that hasn’t been delivered via email yet, please contact info@lostislandpress.com.
Paperbacks & BlueBounds
Shipping Info
We deliver paperbacks internationally.
For customers in the US, CA, UK, or AU: paperbacks will be printed in your country and shipped domestically (no duties or import fees).
For customers in other countries: duties or import fees may be charged upon delivery, depending on your country.
Paperbacks are printed in 3-7 business days. You’ll receive a tracking link via email once it’s on the way.
Our specialty hardcovers (BlueBounds) are made to order and printed at our UK facility.
For customers in the UK: BlueBounds will be printed in your country and shipped domestically (no duties or import fees).
For customers outside the UK: duties or import fees may be charged upon delivery, depending on your country.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for printing, binding, and finishing your BlueBound. You’ll receive a tracking link via email once it’s on the way.
If you order a paperback and a BlueBound together, both formats will be routed to the UK facility in order to ship them in one parcel together. This is true even if the paperback could be printed at a closer facility. To receive your paperback sooner, consider placing it in a separate order.
Return Policy
Because every book is made to order, we don’t accept returns or exchanges for customer-initiated issues such as buying the wrong book or changing your mind.
If your parcel is misrouted or lost in transit, we will reprint and resend your order at no additional cost.
If your products arrive with manufacturing defects or shipping damages, please email photographic proof and a description of the defects/damages to info@lostislandpress.com within 14 days of receiving your parcel. For shipping damages, it’s helpful to include pictures of both the packaging and the damaged items. Depending on the nature of the problem, we may offer to reprint and resend the affected books or issue a refund for the order.
Merch
Delivery Info
We deliver merch (shirts, mugs, etc.) internationally.
Our merch ships globally from the nearest available facility. Most products are available domestically in the US, CA, UK, and AU, which helps reduce delivery times and import fees. If an item happens to ship from a different country than your own, duties or import fees may be charged upon delivery.
Return Policy
We don’t accept returns or exchanges for customer-initiated issues such as choosing the wrong size, color, or changing your mind.
If your parcel is misrouted or lost in transit, we will reproduce and resend your order at no additional cost.
